Multi-factor authentication significantly enhances the security of your account. It requires both something you know (your password) and something you have (a login code from your phone or device) for login.

How to Enable Multi-Factor Authentication
Before you enable MFA, you need to have a mobile app like Duo Mobile, Authy, Symantec VIP (Required by Schwab), 1Password, or Google Authenticator installed on your phone.
1. Sign into the app

2. You will see a pop-up notifying you that MFA is now required. Click on "Enable MFA"

3. Click on Download Codes as CSV

4. Once saved, click on Next

5. Use the MFA tool of choice then click on next

6. Enter the Authentication Code
IMPORTANT - You must use the mouse button to click on "FINISH". If you use the enter key, you will have to repeat the process.

7. Upon completion, you will be redirected to your dashboard

Troubleshooting Multi-Factor Authentication
VIP Access
If you are using VIP Access, the initial code you see is not the correct MFA code. You need to swipe your phone to the right to get the Smartria Security code.
I keep going through the cycle over and over after the Finish step
If you press enter on the "Enter the Authentication Code" step, you will be take back to the start of authenticating. Please tab + enter OR use your mouse to select "Finish."
