Connect account to Email Archiving

Turn on the email archiving integration for Office365 (Outlook) , Google, Yahoo, Apple and IMAP accounts

Summary: Connect email account(s) for monitoring and archiving

NOTE: Some services may require two-factor authentication (2FA) and or 3rd-party passwords to enable the account to connect to the SmartRIA Email Archiving module.

 
1.  Hover over your initials in the top right, and click Settings
2. Click the Integrations button at the bottom
 
3. Select the email account type you want to add on the left sidebar and follow the instructions on the page for each account type below:
 
Office365
3a. Click Sign in with Microsoft and login with your Microsoft account
 
IMAP (Gmail, Yahoo, Apple iCloud, Custom)
3b. Gmail

This option will require that each user set up two-factor authentication for their Gmail account.

In the PRESET dropdown, select Google Mail (Gmail). Check the two boxes below to confirm you have Enabled IMAP in your Gmail Settings (Instructions) and Created a 3rd-party App Password that you will use instead of your Google password when signing in (Instructions). 
Once you have confirmed your Gmail settings are properly setup, the Sign-in information fields will appear, and you can complete the integration by entering in your Email Address and Password using the 3rd-party App Password. Then click Add Account.
 
3c. Yahoo
In the PRESET dropdown, select Yahoo Mail. Check the box below once you Create a 3rd-party App Password that you will use instead of your Yahoo password when signing in (Instructions).
Once you have confirmed your Yahoo Mail settings are properly setup, the Sign-in information fields will appear, and you can complete the integration by entering in your Email Address and Password using the 3rd-party App Password. Then click Add Account.
 
3d. Apple iCloud
In the PRESET dropdown, select Apple iCloud. Check the box below once you Create a 3rd-party App Password that you will use instead of your iCloud password when signing in (Instructions).
Once you have confirmed your Apple iCloud settings are properly setup, the Sign-in information fields will appear, and you can complete the integration by entering in your Email Address and Password using the 3rd-party App Password. Then click Add Account.
 
3e. Custom IMAP Email Server
In the PRESET dropdown, select Custom. Enter the Host Address and Port from your hosting provider. Check REQUIRES SSL/TLS, if a secure connection is required. (Secure connections are always recommended, and the box is checked by default.)
Once you have confirmed your Custom IMAP email server settings are properly setup, complete the integration by entering in your Email Address and Password. Then click Add Account.
